Poets Celeste McCarty and Michael Bernstein will read at Mac's followed by open mic. Celeste is a poet and artist visiting from San Francisco. She is also an ex-Clevelander via Florida and a Mac's staff alumna. She has published several books including forgive and continue, infinity + 1, Friendly Fire (cartoons) and Small Works. Her vivid paintings were exhibited at the Brandt Gallery in Tremont last July and Mac's sells her postcard art. HIs work has appeared in publications including New American Writing, milk, puppy flowers, BlazeVOX, and in several chapbooks. He often serves as a musical accompanist for other poets.
