DIANE BORSENIK, BONNE de BLAS, JOHN BURROUGHS
Poets Diane Borsenik, Bonnie de Blas and John Burroughs will read at Mac's on Wednesday, December 12th at 7 p.m. followed by an open mic.
Diane Borsenik is the editor of NightBallet Press which publishes chapbooks and broadsides by a wide range of poets. She has written several collections including Bad Ink (Writing Knights Press, 2012), Cravings (recycled karma press, 2012), Fortune Cookie (Kattywompus Press, 2012), Blue Graffiti (Crisis Chronicles Press, 2011) and HardDrive/SoftWear (Crisis Chronicles Press, 2009). Her poetry has appeared in numerous journals and she has founded/hosted several area reading series including Lix and Kix and Snoetry-A Winter Wordfest.
Bonnie De Blas book artist and poet, is the associate editor and book arts editor for Kattywompus Press, and is a member of the Cleveland and Columbus Pudding House Salons. A co-founder and former director of Arts Books Cleveland, her artists' books are in the Special Collections of the Cleveland Public Library and galleries in France and Mexico. Her poetry has appeared in the literary magazines ant, ant, ant, ant, ant, Poetalk, Canto, and Levy Graffiti, and in the Pudding House anthologies What I Knew Before I Knew and Another Memorial for Wallace Stevens.
The evening will also be a book release for John Burroughs new collection The Eater of the Absurd published by NightBallet. He is also the author of Water Works (Recycled Karma Press) and Electric Company (Writing Knights). John is also the editor of Crisis Chronicles Press which has published several dozen poetry chapbooks and along with Diane Borsenik founded the Lix and Kix Reading series and Snoetry.
