The Coventry Library and Mac's Backs are hosting author Tricia Springstubb at the library at 2 p.m. Her new book for middle-graders is Looking For True, a story about two unlikely friends that bond over their shared compassion for a dog. .Kids & attendees are encouraged to bring pictures of their own favorite canine and share a few words.
A Lantern Festival and Parade will be taking place at the Coventry P.E.A.C.E. Park campus. This event is meant for people of all ages- children and those young at heart! Lantern making will begin at 3 p.m. with afternoon workshops and then an early-evening lantern procession through the park and down Coventry Road, concluding with a holiday sing-along and free hot cocoa.
