The Hessler Street Fair Poetry Contest Reading takes place this year on Saturday, May 11th at 7 p.m at the Unitarian Universalist Society, 2728 Lancashire Rd, Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44106.

Those who have submitted a poem to the chapbook published by Writing Knights Press are eligible to read their poem. Cash prizes are given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. You are only elible to win if you are able to attend the Street Fair and read your prize-winning poem on Saturday or Sunday June 1st/June 2nd.

Hessler Street, located near the corner of Mayfield and Euclid in University Circle has been home to one of Northeast Ohio's best street festivals for 50 years. The fair features arts & crafts booths, a music stage, food trucks and food stands, street performers and non-profit info tables. This year it will take place on Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd.
