Poets Miles Budimir and Steve Goldberg, author of History is an Afterthought (Luchador Press 2021) will do a virtual reading on Tuesday, November 16th at 7 p.m.
Steve Goldberg has been part of the Cleveland poetry scene for longer than anyone expected. Steve has been published in many of Cleveland’s small press zines and is included in the book Cleveland Poetry Scenes: A Panorama & Anthology (Bottom Dog Press) and the coffee table book, Hotel Poem, Poets of Cleveland (Language Foundry) . His chapbook, Tremont Crawl, sold out in its third printing. He has read all across the country and participated in poetry festivals such as Kansas City’s Unregulated Word, Oakland’s Beast Crawl, the Tremont Art and Cultural Festival, and has been the MC for Rainy Day in Seattle poetry festival. As a poetry event organizer, Steve led the legendary Literary Café Reading Series for four years, the bombastic Metrical Singularity Supernova festival, and Broken Pulpit poetry weekend and crawl in Cleveland.
Miles Budimir is the author of two chapbooks; Departures (Burning River) and Rustbelt Romance (deep cleveland). His poems have appeared in a variety of publications including most recently Pittsburgh Poetry Review, Great Lakes Review, Guide to Kulchur Quarterly and The Toledo Free Press. Miles is a senior editor covering motion control for Design World and an adjunct philosophy professor at Cleveland State University. He has taught engineering ethics and other philosophy courses for over 15 years at various NE Ohio colleges and universities
