The South Euclid-Lyndhurst branch of the Cuyahoga County Public Library has a brand new writing center that offers programs and workshops for local authors and writers.

Literary Cleveland is a new organization that promotes literary events, workshops, and readings to create a strong community for writers in the Cleveland area.
The Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America also has a really great website with tons of practical information about the nuts and bolts of publishing. Of particular interest is the Writer Beware section.
